How it all started...
In the 1970s there was a lot of prayer for revival in several fellowships across the country of Ghana and indeed across the continent of Africa . This prayer for revival which was born out of a deep hunger for God resulted in the revivals of the late 1970s and 1980s which culminated in the establishment of several Pentecostal and Charismatic churches, including the then Miracle Life Gospel Church, now Life International Church.
This prayer for revival was going on in different places at the same time, separate, apart from and unknown to each other.

Several similarities that could be seen in these churches that were birthed as a result include the fact that they were born by prayer for revival by members of the non- denominational Prayer Fellowships in the 1960s and 1980s.
Bishop Gordon Kisseih was the president of Power House Fellowship which was a non- denominational gathering of young dynamic believers for prayer and evangelism in Tema. He was also a member of Assemblies of God Church, Community 2.

As a chemical Engineer working with the Tema oil Refinery, Bishop Kisseih was being trained in Petrochemical Engineering to take up a top managerial position but had to quit his job when he decided to go into full time after receiving the call of God with the vision “ As the father sent me so send I you” ( John 20 :21b).
Expanding the vision...
Life International Church formerly (Miracle Life Gospel Church) was officially launched on 25th October 1987 in Tema, under the spiritual leadership and direction of Rev. Dr. Gordon and Rev. Mrs. Esther Kisseih. The ministry, which took off from a humble beginning in a restaurant (Dixieland), has grown into a household name with over 40 branches across the globe.
As part of his vision, the church in 1995 established the Heritage Bible Institute (now Life Bible College) to train competent, New Testament Pastors and lay Christian workers to fulfil the mandate of the great commission. The Bible School is currently located in Achimota, Accra and has graduated and ordained over one hundred Pastors, Evangelists, Teachers and lay workers since its inception.
Where we are headed...
Through evangelism, teaching of the word of God, prayer festivals and medical outreaches as well as the teachings of faith, especially School of Faith now School Discipleship, several souls are transformed by conversion to Christianity and began to live godly lives and to serve God in different capacities. Many mighty deeds including signs and wonders are performed where people afflicted with all kinds of sicknesses are delivered and healed in the many Life International Church branches established in the regions and districts of the country with countless young men and women being redeemed from the stranglehold of occultism and social vices to live for God and to live dignified lives.
In 2008 the church moved its Headquarters to the city of of Accra at a very deprived and secluded place in Achimota, this move of Faith has brought a massive transformation to the community resulting in the influx of churches, real estate developers, private business developers and many lives in this deprived community have been transformed by the Gospel and are being raised spiritually, socially and economically.
Building on the gains so far post the global pandemic, Life International Church is adopting a digital strategy to ensure many more lives are impacted by the Word of God through the Treasures of Wisdom brand of Bishop Gordon Kisseih.
